In this study, we utilized N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) instead of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) to suppress the formation of δ-CsPbI3 in Cs0.22FA0.78PbI3 perovskite. Top-view SEM images reveal that the use of NMP effectively suppresses δ-CsPbI3 formation, due to the creation of a more stable intermediate phase compared to DMSO. As a result, the short-circuit current density (JSC) of the perovskite using NMP is improved relative to that using DMSO, due to the suppression of δ-CsPbI3. However, the power conversion efficiency of the perovskite utilizing NMP is similar to that using DMSO. This study highlights the importance of understanding the mechanisms of anti-solvent behavior in solution processing.
